Goochland County Board of Supervisors Meeting
The regular meeting of Goochland County Board of Supervisors is a great opportunity to meet BoS members and personally lobby against the VSP proposal one-on-one after the meeting.

About the event
The Goochland County Board of Supervisors will vote on VSP's CUP application (CU-2025-00012) to construct a public-use shooting range on a narrow 85-acre parcel of land only 600 feet from the closest existing family home. There are 7 homes within a quarter mile; 30 within a half mile; 120 within a mile; and 500 within two miles, which is the extent to which shotgun noise can travel.
The CUP is not currently scheduled to appear before the BoS at this meeting. However, it is an excellent opportunity to meet with BoS members one-on-one after the meeting and to lobby against the VSP proposal with your concerns.
When the CUP has been assigned to a specific month's agenda, we will update the events accordingly.
