Goochland County Planning Commission Meeting

The Goochland County Planning Commission meets the third Thursday of every month.

At the June 2026 hearing, VSP will be requesting a deferral, either to the July 16, 2026, hearing or the August 20, 2026, hearing.

Please attend as many meetings as possible, but don't just attend. Be sure to introduce yourselves to the Commissioners before or directly after the meeting, stating that you're there in regard to the VSP shotgun range and why you're opposed. Be calm, be factual, but be firm. If this application is approved, we will be serenaded with shotgun blasts from 23 - 50 stations for perpetuity. The Commissioners, County Staff, and Supervisors need to vote in accordance with County Code that:
