The Goochland County Economic Development Authority (EDA) meets Wednesday, November 19th, at 5:30pm, and their agenda includes "consideration of EDA Support for Virginia Sports Park."
WE NEED TO SHOW UP AND VOICE OUR CONCERNS IN OPPOSITION.
The Goochland EDA's mission is to "attract, cultivate, and retain diverse business in Goochland County by promoting economic growth through commercial, and industrial development while preserving Goochland’s agricultural heritage."
Pertinent Points to Raise:
Economic development at the expense of residents' well-being would display an interest in financial gain over retaining the agricultural character of the county, which is only achievable through its residents.
